Several streets were flooded in Batumi following the last night’s heavy rain. Water pumping works are underway at several locations in the city.

Vehicles movement was interrupted at Aghmashenebeli Street. Ground floors of buildings were flooded at Dimitri Tavdadebuli Street.

Citizens say that due to the disorganized infrastructure, a large amount of water is not pumped in time, which causes flooding of the streets.

The new building of Batumi Republican Hospital was flooded as a result of heavy rain. The technical team is on the spot and is working to eliminate the problem.
