The officers of Telavi Police Division of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.G. (DoB 2000), as a result of operative-investigative activities for domestic violence, inflicting serious body injuries to two or more persons and theft.

The committed crime envisages from 9 to 13 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the detainee physically assaulted his female acquaintance- M.M. (DoB1989). Due to the noise caused by the conflict, an argument took place between G.G. and brothers - T.R. (DoB 1999), and N.R.(DoB 2004) who lived in the neighborhood. During the conflict G.G. inflicted body injuries with a sharp object to brothers in the yard of a residential building. Both wounded men were transferred to the clinic where they received appropriate medical treatment.

The investigation also established that the accused person robbed grocery stores in Telavi in June and July of the current year.

Investigation is in progress under Article 117, Part VII, subparagraph “A”, Article 126, Part 1 and Article 177, Part II, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging domestic violence, inflicting serious body injuries to two or more persons on purpose and theft.
