The Officers of the Investigation Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained previously convicted G.G. (DoB1985) as a result of investigative and operative activities for premeditated murder and illegall purchase-keeping and carrying of a firearm.

The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that in district Gldani, on July 14 of the current year, the detainee inflicted lethal body injury with a firearm to G.M. (DoB 1991) on the basis of vengeance and fled from the place of crime. The wounded victim died soon after being admitted at the hospital.

As a result of investigative and operative activities G.G. was detained by police.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of a firearm, articles 108 and 236 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
