The officers of Sagarejo Police Division of Kakheti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained M.G.(DoB 2000), for theft and exposed his juvenile brother of the detainee-L.G. (DoB 2004) for committing the same crime as a result of operative and investigative activities.

The committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that brothers – M.G. and L.G. - stole various items from the St. George Church in the village of Khashmi, Sagarejo Municipality, on July 7 of the current year.

The investigation is in progress under Article 177, Part II, sub-paragraph “A” and part III, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates theft committed in group with a prior agreement, which caused a significant damage.
