Georgia cannot afford to lift the curfew, said today the Minister of Health, while visiting Guria region.

“The lifting of the curfew is not planned. We have no reason to do so, nor do we have the luxury of it, the pandemic is still in Georgia, as well as in the world.

We see that there is significant tightening of measures in Europe, while in Georgia we have significant easing.

I said that there is a noteworthy epidemic situation in the Guria region. Together with the local authorities, we will go through it on the ground, give out recommendations, which need to be observed and will be important in order to prevent further tightening of measures in Guria”, - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
