Pfizer vaccine is expected in Georgia today

The Pfizer vaccine is expected in Georgia today. 29,500 doses will be transported to the Disease Control Center in the first phase.

The Ministry of Health clarifies that all the persons authorized by the Coordination Council will be vaccinated together with the medical staff.

From tomorrow, medical professionals, as well as citizens over the age of 65, will be able to choose between AstraZeneca and Pfizer and register accordingly.

The Ministry of Health hopes that the activity of citizens will increase after the beginning of vaccination with Pfizer. It is not ruled out that citizens over the age of 55 will soon be able to get involved in the vaccination process.

According to the latest data, more than 3,800 people have been vaccinated in the country at this stage.
