“People encouraged by certain clergymen as well as journalists, despite the warning, broke into the episcopal residence by force, which led to the breaking of the balcony railing and the injury of 5 people. We express our sorrow over this fact.

This incident in Chkondidi Diocese was a planned provocation against this Diocese and the Georgian Church in general. Yesterday’s footage also showed us that those who plan these processes are ready for any unworthy behavior.

For a long time, aggression, lies, slander have become a common occurrence for them, and now they no longer avoid violence”, - reads the statement.
