New state commission to create economic development plan for Georgia - Irakli Garibashvili

A state commission will be set up to work on a long-term economic development plan. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“At today’s Government meeting we will approve the establishment of a state commission which will work on an economic development plan for the next 3 months and will present the first document at the end of May.

Everyone who is interested in the commission, representatives of the sectoral committee of the Parliament or high-level experts are free to join.

Our task will be creating a specific long-term development plan for each sector, with action plans for each year. As you know, after the occupation, probably the second challenge for our population is the economy, poverty, unemployment, and we should join our efforts in this direction. Our main focus should be on solving these problems in the coming years”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
