Opposition temporarily postpones protests until the end of negotiations with Government - Paata Manjgaladze

Opposition temporarily postpones protests until the end of negotiations with Government. Such a statement made today Paata Manjgaladze, one of the members of Strategy Builder, after the meeting between the opposition parties.

“In order not to give the Government additional grounds and reasons to refuse or disrupt the talks, we decided to temporarily postpone the planned rallies until the end of the negotiation process, which is set for March 16.

We know that the United National Movement has a specific situation, because its chairman was arrested and they can hold rallies on condition that they do not come into contact with the administrative building and the police. Tomorrow’s rally will be held, but the subsequent rallies will be postponed. We are waiting for the results of the negotiations”, - said Paata Manjgaladze.
