European Council President has left Georgia. The official farewell ceremony of Charles Michel was held at the Tbilisi International Airport. Charles Michel was seen off by the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani.

The ceremony was also attended by the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia Natia Sulava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Belgium and the Kingdom of Luxembourg and the Head of the Georgian Mission to the EU Natali Sabanadze and the EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell.

Within the framework of the visit to Georgia, the President of the European Council held meetings with the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Speaker of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze. Charles Michel also met with representatives of political parties.
