The officers of Tbilisi Main Division under the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative, search and investigative activities detained I.N. (DoB 1971) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of firearm and armament.

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Law enforcers supposedly seized the detainee’s firearm on Tamarashvili Street as evidence, which will undergo relevant expertise examination.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of firearm and armament, article 236, III and IV parts under the Criminal Code of Georgia.
