During the meeting parties discussed the issue related to legal employment for Georgian citizens in Germany. Georgian citizens will be able to have jobs in the German labour market for three months.

“Since Georgia and Germany have been managing the virus righty, the program will reopen from February 15 for a year. The German government is ready to accept an unrestricted number of Georgian citizens. This is a three-month labor migration”, - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.

Georgia and Germany signed a relevant agreement on January 17, 2020, but the pandemic hindered the process. Registration will be available starting from February 15 and last during the year. Jobs are available in the agricultural sector, seasonally. The job seeker can register on the portal http://workabroad.gov.ge/.
