The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of investigative and operative activities, solved the fact of violence in Lagodekhi municipality. Police detained T.N. (DoB 1978) for causing severe health injury on purpose committed in group.

Committed crime envisages from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on February 4, on the basis of vengeance for the conflict which existed in past, detainee along with accomplices inflicted severe health injuries to T.N. (DoB 1973) in the village of Kabali, Lagodekhi municipality and fled from the place of crime. Detainee has been transferred to the hospital and received relevant medical aid.

In order to identify and detain others involved in the crime, operative and procedural activities are in progress.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of causing severe health injury on purpose committed in group, article 117 , part V of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
