The rehabilitation works of Vake Park are starting, due to which the park will be temporarily closed. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“It is very important for us to renovate and improve the recreational spaces, many steps have been taken in this direction, and good projects have been implemented. The Vake Park is a space located in the center of Tbilisi and we have decided to renovate it. Of course, the important elements that this park has as the cultural heritage will be preserved.

Because of the works, I want to inform the population that we will have to close the park entirely in a few days, as large-scale works will be starting on the site.

We have active communication with the local population. They also had many exciting ideas that were considered in this project. The works must be completed by the end of 2021”, - added Kakha Kaladze.
