The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia charged four defendants for the fact of unlawful deprivation of liberty of the minors committed in a group.
The investigation carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia established that on January 7, 2021, in the district of Gardabani E.B. with his mother C.A. and aunt B.B. broke into the house of S.B., 15 years old S.B. was forcibly moved out from the house, put in a car and took to the house of G.B., where A.B. locked the victim in the room for about an hour and did not allow him to move freely.
And after the kidnappers became aware that the investigation on the fact of the unlawful deprivation of liberty of S.B., for the purpose of avoid the impending punishment, they returned the minor victim to his home.
Law enforcers arrested E.B., C.A., B.B. And A.B. on January 10. They were charged under the Subparagraphs “A” and “D” of the 3rd part of Article 143 (unlawful deprivation of liberty against the minor committed in a group with prior agreement), which provides imprisonment from 7 to 10 years as a form and size of restraint.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has already applied to the Rustavi City Court with a motion of imprisonment as the measure of restraint for defendants.
