Rugby Union presidential election to be held today

The president of the Georgian Rugby Union will be elected today. Several candidates are vying for the post, including Lasha Khurtsidze, Gocha Svanidze and Irakli Abuseridze. Svanidze is the former president of the Union.

At the same time, the heads of several clubs are openly talking about pressure and attempts to disrupt the elections. Presidential candidates are also accusing each other.
