The Government of Georgia managed to assure the increased pension payments at the legislative level, avoiding it to be an issue of political speculation. It was stated by Giorgi Gakharia, Nominee Prime Minister of Georgia in his speech delivered today at the plenary session of the Parliament of Georgia.

“You may well be aware that together with the previous convocation of the parliament, we managed to assure the increased pension payments at the legislative level, avoiding it to be an issue of political speculation. It was a good, right, brave and strong decision, which ensured the increased pension payments to our age pensioners. We may argue whether it is sufficient or not. Of course, it is not enough, though we can say straight that this is linked with the success and economic growth of the country”, - added Giorgi Gakharia.
