The officers of Old Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained I.A. (DoB 1988) for premeditated murder committed in group under aggravating circumstances and illegal purchase and keeping of firearm. The mentioned person was wanted by law enforcement agency from 2011.

Investigation established that on October 17, 2011, on the basis of vengeance, I.A. and his accomplices inflicted multiple injuries with firearm shots to Z.T. (DoB 1988) on Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi and fled from the place of crime. The wounded victim died at the place of crime.

I.A. was charged in absentia on October 25, 2011 for the committed crime.

Detainee has already been transferred to the penitentiary facility.
