The officers of Isani - Samgori police division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities, two persons with previous convictions: V.N. (DoB 1984) and I.Ts. (DoB 1973 for armed robbery.

Committed crime envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on December 1 of the current year, detainees broke into Black Sea Hospital with “TT” pistol and hunting rifle.

The assailants made several shots to the direction of the hospital security representative as a result of which the entrance door glass of the hospital was damaged. As the assailants managed to break into the building, they appropriated 3500 GEL and fled from the place of crime.

As a result of the intensive operative-investigative activities police detained the offenders two days later after the crime.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179, II part, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
