Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gela Bezhuashvili, has been summoned to the General Prosecutor’s Office for questioning.

He will testify as part of the ongoing investigation into Davit Gareji.

The General Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with the State Security Service, detained Iveri Melashvili, Head of the Border Relations Service of the Neighborhood Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and Natalia Ilychova, Chief Inspector of the Land Border Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
