The officers of Rustavi police Division under Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained L.M. (DoB 1983) for theft.

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on November 16 of the current year, detainee robbed three vehicles parked on various streets of Rustavi. As a result of the fact, detainee illegally appropriated two accumulators and one monitor. On the same day, detainee committed another theft and stole electric appliances from the citizen’s apartment balcony.

Police detained the offender shortly after the crime took place as a result of immediate police activities.

Law enforcers seized the stolen items as evidence. Detainee has also claimed responsibility for three more vehicle thefts that took place in recent month in Rustavi.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft, article 177, II and III parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
