The visit of Mike Pompeo is a reaffirmation of the close, strategic partnership between the U.S. and Georgia. Such a statement the US Ambassador to Georgia made in her video address, in which she summed up the visit of the US Secretary of State to Tbilisi.

She added that the Secretary Pompeo also called on Georgia to continue to strengthen democratic institutions, deepen democratic processes and implement electoral and judicial reforms.
