The members of Lelo movement Alexandre Milorava and Misho Kavtaradze were assaulted in the Batumi municipality.

As they say, the son and nephew of Badri Manvelidze, the majority deputy member Batumi Supreme Council, were involved in the attack. Manvelidze is a member of the ruling party.

Despite numerous attempts, the Kurieri could not contact Giorgi Manvelidze.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident under the article of violence. Representatives of Lelo are being interrogated at the moment.
