“We have said that political dialogue is very important for the society and the country. I would therefore say that this was a positive start of the political consultations. I have high hopes that the dialogue will continue and this is very important for our community.

It is our great desire to bring our positions closer and today’s meeting also served this purpose. We exchanged arguments. I would like to emphasize the positive participation of the US and the EU Ambassadors.

Our position is clear – let’s review all the issues raised by the opposition. We have a very constructive and open position. We want to reach a result where everyone, in the end, respects the election results. One should not expect that the first meeting with the opposition would end with specific results, but it is positive that the dialogue has started. We exchanged arguments. Most importantly, we listened to each other in a constructive environment”, - said Talakvadze.
