Under the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, meeting was held with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia. Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri met with foreign diplomats along with his deputies.

During the meeting, held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the representatives of embassies and international organizations were proactively provided with information regarding developments that took place during the protest rally in front of the Central Election Commission building in Tbilisi on November 8. Representatives of the diplomatic corps expressed eagerness to get familiarized with preventive measures implemented and scheduled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with maintaining public order during the ongoing protest rallies and gatherings. Representatives of embassies and international organizations were provided with detailed information on the matter.

At the end of the meeting, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia expressed its readiness to proactively provide information to international partners on violations revealed during gatherings and response of police in this regard.
