The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities, solved the fact of stealing in Zugdidi.

For the stealing committed in group, two persons are detained: previously convicted D.G. (DoB 1987) and R.G. (DoB 1986).

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainees penetrated the office of one of the political parties, located in Zugdidi. D.G. and R.G. stole TV and computer technic from the office, however, they were detained by police at the place of crime.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing committed in group, article 177, II part, sub-paragraph “B” and part III, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
