The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities, solved the case of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances which took place in Vazisubani village, Gurjaani municipality.

Law enforcers detained Z.D. (DoB 1964) for premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances committed against two persons, including a family member.

Committed crime envisages from 16 to 20 or lifetime imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainee shot his neighbor – K.S. (DoB 1974) after the mentioned, Z.D. murdered his wife – L.D. Detainee also inflicted body injury to his two neighbors and fled from the place of crime. Police managed to detain Z.D. shortly in Gurjaani municipality, after the crime took place.

The weapon of crime- a shotgun was seized as evidence by the law enforcers. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against two persons, including a family member and the attempted murder of two more persons, article 11-109, II part, sub-paragraph “F” and part III, sub-paragraph “A”, article 19-109, II and III parts envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
