The Minister of Economy held an online meeting with U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade.

During the online meeting, it was noted that the U.S. is Georgia’s main strategic partner and ally, and its assistance and projects to Georgia over the years have made a significant contribution to Georgia’s democratic development and to the establishment of free market economy.

Natia Turnava and Joseph Semsar talked about the importance of concluding a free trade agreement. It was noted that a study was conducted at the initiative of the Georgian side which showed that the free trade agreement between two countries would be beneficial for both Georgia and USA.
