A 5-year cooperation plan between Georgia and the UN will aim to ensure steps towards sustainable and inclusive economy, decentralization, benefits for the disabled and vulnerable and other areas, after the signing of the new UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework signed on Friday.

Outlining work for the years 2021-2025 and signed by the Prime Minister. The agreement will see the international organization continue its support for developing its economy for improving inclusiveness and social equality and ensuring environmental standards in the process.

A UN release said the framework was built around five key areas of cooperation: an inclusive economy and human capital development, effective, transparent and accountable institutions, equal and inclusive access to quality services, human security and resilience, the environment and climate change.
