The construction of flats for eco-migrant families living in slum-like conditions in Batumi’s so-called Dream Town began today. The Prime Minister of Georgia attended the opening ceremony of the construction process.
“The process will take one and a half years. 582 flats will be built for eco-migrant families. Our main goal as well the main goal of the Adjara government is to make this country a country of opportunities for children. These children should have a possibility to live in dignity”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
He added that the construction of a school and kindergarten will start in 2021.
“38 million GEL has been allocated from the budget for this project”, - concluded the Head of the Government.
