The Parliament of Georgia enforces red security level

A red security warning has been triggered in the Parliament building from today, November 29, until its cancellation.

“During the red alert, no individuals will be permitted entry into the Georgian Parliament, except for those specifically designated by the Head of the Parliament’s apparatus based on the nature of the threat and the necessity for prevention.

Additional security measures are being implemented under Order N1/259/23 issued by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia on September 4, 2023, titled ‘On Approving the Rules of Security Protection in the Palace of the Georgian Parliament’”, - reads the statement.
