The judge of the City Court may announce the verdict regarding Mikheil Kalandia’s case today. Such a statement made the human rights defender Zurab Todua, who hopes for acquittal to follow.

According to him, the defense will make a final statement at the trial. Mikheil Kalandia will also address the judge.

The hearing will start at 12:00.

According to the lawyer, Kalandia will tell what happened on Khorava street in detail, which he refused to do previously: “I think the trial will last for about three hours, then Kalandia will appeal to the court, after which we will only await an acquittal. Otherwise, I will say that we are dealing with a political order”.
