Tskhinvali is facing shortage of food products. According to the local information agency “Res”, no cargo has been imported in Tskhinvali from Russia for two weeks now.

The de facto authorities are negotiating with Russia and is trying to resolve the problem.

Locals do not exclude that prices for other products may increase in the near future.
