Georgia has excellent relations with Germany and France, both countries are our active supporters and we have close coordination with our counterparts. Such a statement made the Minister of Foreign Affairs while commenting on the joint letter of the his French and German colleagues.
According to Zalkaliani, the letter shows support in many areas and does not address the issue of former Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava.
“I appreciate our very good, close and productive relations with both ministers. This is evidenced by my recent meetings with them. We hope for their support in addressing challenges. We talked about these issues at the meetings.
The letter was supportive in terms of Georgia’s European integration, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as democracy”, - concluded the Minister.
