We are not going to put our German and French partners in an awkward situation. The Diplomatic Service cannot get involved in cheap remarks of Giorgi Kandelaki and his colleagues, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said in response to the request of MP Giorgi Kandelaki, member of the European Georgia party, who called on the Government to publish a joint letter of French and German Foreign Ministers sent to the Georgian Government.

According to the Foreign Ministry, publishing the letter is not their prerogative.

“This is the prerogative of the German and French sides to publish the letter and it would be great for us to publish it because it is very balanced, supportive and constructive”, - said the Ministry.
