Russian journalist Yuri Izotov has applied for asylum to the Georgian authorities. As Izotov says, he is the victim of a political persecution in Russia.

“I understand that they can at any time put me on the list of wanted people based on fabricated evidence”, - explains the journalist.

Yuri Izotov is prosecuting by the Kremlin since 2016, because of the coverage of Kiev rallies.
