The former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili commented on the statement made by the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili regarding the army.

According to Saakashvili, yesterday’s statement of Zourabichvili is an insult to tens of thousands of Georgian military personnel and many veterans. 
“This is an insult to our heroes - Giorgi Antsukhelidze, Tatunashvili and Shindisi heroes.

The statement was an open expression of what Zourabichvili thinks, and what Bidzina Ivanishvili and Russia want.

As a result of rigged elections, the puppet of Ivanishvili, Salome Zourabichvili, made a very offensive statement yesterday, saying that Georgia has neither an army nor weapons. Do not try to justify her by saying that this woman does not speak Georgian well or that she is crazy - this is a direct expression of revenge of Russian Armed Forces on our troops, who shot down many, 13 or 14 flying units of the Russian Armed Forces, something not done by anybody after the Afghan war.

It was revenge on the army that wounded the commander of the Russian army for the first time since the Second World War. Before that, the Russian General had never been seriously wounded after World War II. It was revenge on the Georgian officers who protect our country in Ukraine.

It was an expression of conscious politics. What does it mean that we have no weapons? Georgia had been producing weapons in DELTA, one of the best weapons in its category.
