According to the information on the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), an earthquake occurred at around 03:01 in Denizli, Turkey. The magnitude of the earthquake centered in Ertuğrul Neighborhood of Güney district was announced as 4.0.

After the medium-sized earthquake that occurred at a depth of 7.6 km in the earth’s crust, some citizens experienced brief panic. It was reported that no negative effects have been experienced so far in the earthquake, which was also felt in neighboring cities and districts.

Last night at around 22:00, a small-scale earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 was experienced in the Ertuğrul Neighborhood with the same center, and following the 4.0 magnitude earthquake, another aftershock with a magnitude of 2.0 was recorded at 03:08.
