Employees of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of investigative actions, detained previously convicted for attempted murder and theft - L.Ch. (DoB 1982), for damaging an object.

The committed crime envisions up to 5 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that after the defendant left the ongoing protest on Rustaveli Avenue, he damaged the video surveillance cameras on purpose located in Mziuri Park.

The investigation is being conducted according under Article 187, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies damage or destruction of other’s property.
