Prime Minister, Parliament’s Speaker invited domestic stakeholders to a “public discussion” over Government’s decision to suspend European Union accession talks until 2028, and proposed to Georgia’s Public Broadcaster to ensure live time for it on Wednesday.

“As is known to the public, we have repeatedly expressed our readiness to hold a public discussion with people who protest the statement made by our team on November 28. Former politicians Mikheil [Papuna] Janelidze [former Foreign Minister] and Tinatin Khidasheli [former Defence Minister] have already expressed interest in engaging in such a public discussion”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

Earlier today, he expressed his readiness for public discussion “on all topics”, including those related to “events over the past four years in the country”.
