Statements by OSCE/ODIHR officials indicate that their final report on the 2026 parliamentary elections will be positive. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Youth.

“The OSCE/ODIHR report has not yet been published, but preliminary statements made by OSCE/ODIHR officials regarding this report indicate that the elections were competitive, with a very high administrative component.

All the positive factors that indicate the fairness of these elections are mentioned. We see that against the backdrop of the release of this specific information, the OSCE/ODIHR report is unacceptable to the radical opposition. This report is also being ignored to some extent by partners”, - said Givi Mikanadze.
