A total of 113 employees of the MIA were injured during the recent actions, out of which 4 are still in the clinic. Such a statement released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs [MIA].

The rally held on Rustaveli Avenue repeatedly went beyond the norms established by the las on assembly and manifestation. Those who have gathered in the vicinity of the legislative body continue their violent actions, as in previous days.

Aggressive protest groups have been attacking the police for several hours. They confront law enforcement officers verbally and physically. Stones, pyrotechnics, flammable and iron objects, glass bottles are thrown at the policemen.

21 employees of the MIA were injured on December 1-2 as a result of the violent actions of the protestors. The law enforcement officers have various types of injuries on their bodies and are receiving appropriate medical assistance.

A total of 113 employees of the MIA were injured during the recent actions, out of which 4 are still in the clinic.

We once again call on the aggressive members of the rally to express protest in peaceful ways, refrain from violating law and follow the instructions of the police officers on the spot. Any violation of the law will be immediately foiled by the police and appropriate legal action will be taken.
