The meeting with over 100 business representatives addressed current concerns of Georgia’s business community. Such a statement made today Levan Davitashvili, the First Vice Prime Minister/Economy Minister, after the meeting with the business sector representatives.
“We are faithful to our promises that we gave to the people during the elections – that we are going to Europe with dignity and prosperity, and this path will definitely be successful and we will ultimately achieve the results that we plan.
Business and economic processes in general are sensitive to political events, and thus, peace and stability are the primary prerequisites for continued economic growth.
We talked about the forecasts, which I believe were quite convincing to a large portion of the business community. However, as the businesspeople stated after the meeting, there are others in business, even the leaders of huge corporations, who have opposing viewpoints. As a result, the dialogue should continue, and the Prime Minister is completely prepared for it”, - added Levan Davitashvili.
