The employees of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search measures and investigative actions, detained previously convicted Z.Z. (DoB 1985) for murdering three persons under aggravating circumstances.

The committed crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person, in Gurjaani municipality murdered three people: spouse - F.T. (DoB 1986), fellow villagers- M.M. (DoB 1980) and R.K. (DoB 1985) The crimes were committed with a shot from a firearm after which detainee fled from the scene.

As a result of the conducted search measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested Z.Z. as a result of the immediate activities. Police has recovered the weapon of crime as evidence. The investigation is being conducted under Article 11(1) 109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
