An increase in air temperature is expected on the territory of Georgia on August 21-22.
According to the National Environment Agency, the air temperature in the plains of Western Georgia may exceed 37-39 degrees, and in the mountainous regions it can reach 35-37 degrees.
“The maximum air temperature in Eastern Georgia is expected to be within 33-38 degrees. Expected high air temperature is one of the contributing conditions for forest fires (threat’s level is medium)”, - adds the agency.
