Hours before Ukraine war enters the second year, UN General Assembly adopts resolution demanding Russian Federation withdraw military forces, adjourning emergency session.

Georgia supported the UN resolution. The document, co-sponsored by over 70 states including Georgia, also called for a cessation of hostilities as the war in Ukraine entered its second year.

141 countries supported the resolution, 32 abstained. Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, Eritrea, Nicaragua and Mali choose to vote against it.
