Changed design of 12 streets, widened sidewalks, updated recreational and public spaces - as the Mayor of Tbilisi said today, the capital will have a new road infrastructure.
“Twelve troublesome interchanges are currently being repaired. We have presented the public the transportation policy, which is very important to us and explains how we intend to regulate public transportation to make it even more comfortable and accessible. In some areas of the city, traffic congestion is an issue. Additionally, work is being done to improve the areas that need it.
The intersection of Alexander Kazbegi Avenue and Tamarashvili Street is one such location where the work is being done around-the-clock. However, considering that the traffic is supposed to be less restricted during the day, the improvement works will primarily be done at night”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
