The employees of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative measures and investigative actions detained Z.U. (DoB 1992) on the charge of premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of an argument, inflicted fatal injuries to an acquaintance - Kh.L. (DoB 1974) with a blunt object in one of the villages of Khobi municipality who died on the spot.

The police, as a result of the investigative actions, arrested Z.U as an accused person shortly after the incident.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies premeditated murder.
