Firefighters and rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia continue to participate in liquidation and rescue measures of the earthquake consequences in the Republic of Turkey.

100 firefighters with appropriate equipment are involved in the rescue operation. Georgian cynologists and rescue dogs actively participate in the search and rescue activities.

The task of the Georgian rescue team is to find and rescue people trapped in ruins.

A field headquarters has been set up at the site in coordination with the operational control center of the city of Adiyaman.
