The Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia does not rule out the possibility of evacuating Ukrainian citizens, said Ukraine’s Charge d’Affaires Andrii Kasianov in an interview with European Pravda.

“In case of resumption of direct air communication and increase of real security risks, the embassy does not exclude the possibility of contacting international organizations, our international partners, in order to discuss the issue of assistance in the mass evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from the territory of Georgia.

Due to the anomalous influx of Russians, considering the significant increase in the danger of being safe in Georgia, the embassy supports the return of Ukrainian citizens to Ukraine in every possible way.

Now we are considering the possibility of arranging special evacuation routes for the most vulnerable segments of the population of Ukraine, who really have no way to return. At the same time, we consider land transport to be the most optimal”, - said Andrii Kasianov.
